About Department

The main goal of the Department of Computer and Instructional Technology Teacher Education (CITE) is to educate individuals who have enough knowledge, skills and equipped education to be able to fulfill the requirements of the current information era, and to have all the professional abilities the area for which they are trained.

Departmental Facilities

The department houses modern classrooms, fully-equipped computer laboratories and a smart classroom. Students may also benefit from wireless internet access and the library facilities at the university. The university offers various services for students' social, cultural and academic development. Open and closed sports areas, canteens, cafeterias, student clubs, centers and the library are only a few of them.

Career Opportunities

At the Department of Computer and Instructional Technology Teacher Education with the four-year undergraduate program, our students are trained in three specific areas including basic computer sciences, instructional technology and educational sciences. After completing their undergraduate programs, our graduates receive diploma in Computer and Instructional Technology teaching certificate. With respect to the structure at the current program, since our students are trained to meet the requirements for three different sub-disciplines, our graduates have high chances to find jobs as the following list:
