EMU Education Faculty Hosted Poet Sina Akyol

Within the framework of the conference entitled "A Joyous Journey to the Poetry of Ancient Civilizations", Eastern Mediterranean University Education Faculty, Turkish Teacher Education Department hosted poet Sina Akyol.

The conference started with a poetry reading session followed by Sina Akyol's presentation on the poetry of the Indians, Babylonians, Ugarits, Assyrians, Sumerians and Hittites. Giving information on the similarities and differences between the poetry of ancient civilizations and the current ones, Akyol stated his happiness in giving a conference in EMU.

At the end of the conference, Sina Akyol was presented a plaque of appreciation by Education Faculty, Turkish Teacher Education Department academic staff member Prof. Dr. Vugar Sultanzade.
