EMU Education Faculty, Educational Management and Inspection Program Receives YÖK’s Approval

Eastern Mediterranean University Education Faculty Educational Sciences Department's "Educational Management and Inspection Postgraduate Program" (with thesis) received the approval of the Turkish Republic Council of Higher Education (YÖK). The program which will be admitting students as of the 2014 – 2015 Academic Year Fall Semester will be delivered by professional faculty members working at EMU Education Faculty.

Designed for individuals interested in becoming effective educational managers and leaders, Educational Management and Inspection Master's Program has the fundamental mission of bringing up executives equipped with professional administrative and leadership skills in the management of different educational institutions. Individuals who are educated within the framework of this mission will have the ability to effectively manage change and organisational development by putting theory in effective management applications into practice in state or private schools as well as institutions of higher education.

Graduates of the Educational Management and Inspection Master's Program may pursue employment opportunities as educational leaders or continue their postgraduate studies at doctoral degree level, which will serve as an advantage in their transition to the administrative positions.

Those students wishing to enrol in the program are expected to have a minimum graduation CGPA of 2.50 from a four-year undergraduate program, have obtained at least 55 points from ALES exam (for the citizens of the Republic of Turkey) and have experience in the field of education.
