Eastern Mediterranean University, Education Faculty, English Language Department academic staff member Prof. Dr. Gülşen Musyeva Vefalı undertook duties in Moldova Republic as a member of the International Experts Board of Germany-based AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Programs).
Up to now, AQAS has carried out inspections on 5.500 university programs in Germany and other European countries. In this respect, AQAS conducted inspections on EMU Education Faculty, English Language Teaching Department in November 2013 and awarded the said department unconditional accreditation for a period of 5 years starting from February 2014.
As an invited member of AQAS Experts Board which is formed by two AQAS officials and professors from Germany, Romania and Poland, Prof. Dr. Gülşen Musayeva Vefalı carried out inspections on the language teaching and literature undergraduate programs of Balti State University and Cahul State University. The Board of Experts will be presenting comprehensive evaluation reports to AQAS after a through inspection of self-evaluation documents as well as information on academic staff members, graduates, existing students, curricula, strategic plans, student educational outcomes, course content, methods, and techniques, student course-load forms, laboratory and library services.
